kali ini saya membuat aplikasi untuk pengguna foursquare yg ingin melihat koleksi badge-badge nya.
saya menggunakan script yg telah dibuat oleh tim good scout. Aplikasi ini bertujuan melihat koleksi seluruh badges dalam ukuran kecil, istilahnya lemari/loker/rak dll. langsung aja tampilan aplikasinya:

"jumperTime" website application for us, "jumperTime 4 US"

berawal dari Foursquare, dan terus hoby ngumpulin badge-badge yang dirilis oleh foursquare, membuat kita menjadi seorang "jumper".

awalnya jadi seorang "jumper" agak sedikit malu, klo c.i (check in, istilah dari foursquare) selalu di hide my location yang artinya teman-teman foursquare lain tidak bisa tahu c.i yang dilakukan.

terus, akhir-akhir ini (desember 2011) foursquare merilis city badge, badge yang bisa diperoleh dengan cara c.i ke kota tersebut, baru ada lima kota, tetapi itu diluar negeri semua.

yang jadi permasalahan untuk seorang "jumper" yaitu kondisi rapid (cepat, artinya c.i terlalu cepat dari tempat ke tempat yang secara logika tidak masuk akal).

nah, para "jumper" bisanya juga berfikir cerdas dengan menunggu jeda, atau mencari jarak tempuh untuk berpindah dari satu kota ke kota lain, yang pastinya waktu tercepat (perhitungan menggunakan pesawat).

pengalaman saya sendiri pernah menggunakan salah satu aplikasi yang disediakan oleh website X,
baru pertama kali mencoba yaitu meng inputkan kota awal dan kota tujuan, -> klik OK
ternyata saya salah tulis nama kota, berulang-ulang saya gagal, dan percobaan ke-4 berhasil

hasilnya bagus, ada informasi jarak tempuh, kecepatan, waktu tempuh, dll

tapi, saya langsung berfikir, kenapa tidak membuat aplikasi sendiri yang bisa mengoreksi input kota (istilah:autocorrect) dan melakukan perhitungan jarak tempuh dan waktu tempuh.

secara website yang saya buka ternyata membutuhkan sumberdaya yang cukup besar (alias: lemot)

langsung saya mencoba membuat aplikasi sederhana tapi memiliki kemampuan yang sama :)

sedikit berkutat dengan program, sempat kesulitan, pending,,,,, ditinggal pergi, lalu dilanjutkan malam ini (shubuh) :), akhirnya jadi juga, dan harus ada sedikit finishing touch , sip.... jadi,,, saya launching ke server  dan saya lakukan promosi :)

What is a Superuser?
      Superuser is feature on foursquare who user can help maintain the venue database, have the ability to edit any venue.

How can I become a superuser?
      Foursquare user can be superuser with fill out application in https://foursquare.com/user/upgrade
And Foursquare staff selected the user.

What type of superuser?
     There are three types of superuser:

• Level 1 : Superuser level 1 can edit venue info (including name, address, cross street, phone, twitter names, map pin location), mark venues as closed, and flag duplicate venues.
• Level 2 : Superuser level 2 can additionally merge duplicate venue listing, adjust the latitude adn longitude of  a venue, remove tag, add a web address, and add categories.
• Level 3 : Superuser level 3 adds the ability to create and remove venue aliases, as well as access a "global queue" of pending requests needing superuser attention (wiki)
